A two-day workshop with Viktor Melamed — artist, former New Yorker illustrator and author exploring the mechanics of visual art and creative work.
Together, we’ll explore how shape, character, story and metaphor come together to create a visual language, and develop a series of sculptural scenes with a clear narrative idea. A workshop for anyone interested in sculpture, storytelling and developing a visual language of their own.
Day 1:
Turning play into storytelling
Changing tone and voice through geometry/strokes
Building visual language on metaphors
Day 2:
Making the image louder and quieter
Turning texture into color
Turning 2D into 3D and back
Price: 250€ (Early bird until Oct 3)

Timing: 11:00 - 18:00 (12hrs)
Materials: Clay and markers/ink/pencils provided. We recommed bringing a sketch book and other specific material you like using.
